Like a phoenix from the ashes Freebird ascend. (10 -2)
Marty and John have delivered a performance which put the PHAT into emphatic - the only question which now remains is can the AA chaps pull themselves from the PIT of capitulation?
Series tied 1 game all, with Freebird ahead on goal difference, tomorrow is going to be a big Wednesday.

OED Word of the Day - Pummeling
pummel
v pummel [ˈpaml]
to beat again and again with the fists.
...and that's what Anjum's Army have just doled out to a rather lacklustre Freebird this afternoon. Technically, the fists were wrapped around the controls of the various bars, but it was a pummelling nonetheless. 10 - 3 is a fantastic start to the week. Just what we needed after a fairly dismal performance so far this year.

NEFA has a new home . . .
It's a day met with a mix of sadness and anticipation as NEFA, home of the 4.30 Match, the Softball Challenge and many more long-standing games of Foosball, has had to relocate due to external pressures.
Some said that Foyer Stadium had been outgrown, others remain loyal to the intimate arena with over-pitch floodlights.
The new Warehouse Arena has a much larger capacity and will allow NEFA to grow and accommodate more games throughout the Foos Season.
Only time will tell if this move proves popular with Foosers and fans . . .

2 Vs 1: Bring It On!
Marty continues his assault on the NEFA with yet another victory over his opposition. Despite them having twice the players, he vanquished them in style with a resounding 10-2 win. This following on from a full set of 3 wins yesterday
Part-Credit must go to John who kindly weighed in with 2 Hinton Strike's and didn't manage to find the back of the net for his own side at all.
Jo must surely be starting to look around for a new doubles partner . . .

let's keep the week alive, longer
To keep interest at fever pitch right up to Friday (every week) why don't we decide the victors - not by a best of 5 series win but with 'first to score 50'
Basically Monday to Thursday - the game ends when as soon as one team reaches 10 goals.
Friday however the game goes on until one team reaches 50 for the week-
e.g
M 10 v 8
T 10 v 8
W 10 v 6
T 8 v 10
F will then require one team to score 12 to win or 18 will secure victory for their opponents.
What do you think?
Perhaps we could limit it to a potential winning score requirement of less than 20.

Soccer AM
John beats Ben 10 - 6. John did get destroyed by 2 Hayes strikes in immediate succession.
Post match interview:
Ben: "I didn't have enough coffee, and the floodlights hadn't warmed up sufficiently for me to see the ball".
John: "No comment".
