John beats Ben 10 - 6. John did get destroyed by 2 Hayes strikes in immediate succession.
Post match interview:
Ben: "I didn't have enough coffee, and the floodlights hadn't warmed up sufficiently for me to see the ball".
John: "No comment".

That was the result of temporary 'hayesnosis' - a delusional thought process causing the thinker to believe that despite the obvious threat of the hayes they will be too fast to be punished, they are WRONG.
